Why silent damping matters on under-sink RO
Kitchen cabinets amplify diaphragm chatter. Damping 605 was built in a Shunde acoustic room, not renamed from a standard head.
An under-sink chassis is a drum. A pump that reads 48 dB(A) on a bench can sound like a compressor once it sits against a thin side panel. OEMs lose reviews on noise long before they lose them on TDS.
Damping is a path, not a sticker
PEILI 605 silent uses a dedicated damping architecture we still run in the Huazhi acoustic lab. Typical compact class is ≤ 48 dB(A). The silent line is specified for kitchen-level targets down to the ≤ 42 dB(A) class when the cabinet and mounts cooperate.
- — Decouple the head from the cabinet — mounts matter as much as the pump
- — Avoid running a high-flow head all night against a closed valve without a proper tank or bypass
- — Ask for the noise curve with the same voltage and back-pressure you will ship
