Dual-sourcing RO pumps without a redesign
Lock mounting, ports, and leak protocol first. Price is the last page of a dual-source file, not the first.
A second pump brand is insurance against MOQ spikes, leak clusters, and a single factory going quiet before Chinese New Year. It fails when purchasing treats it as a cheaper clone of the incumbent drawing.
What has to match
- — Envelope and screw pattern — or a documented adapter
- — Inlet / outlet standard (1/4" QC is the household default)
- — Voltage, connector, and rotation direction
- — Self-priming vs boost-only — mixing them floods returns
- — The leak test you already print on the incoming QC sheet
How we trial
Every PEILI unit sees 12 kg hydrostatic leak. Burst protocol is 3.5 MPa. We can ship a small batch against your incumbent model before any annual agreement. Tell us the current head and monthly usage; we confirm mechanical fit before we talk FOB.
This is the same path we use with household RO and tea-bar OEMs: one platform, private-label carton if you need it, mixed-model containers when the SKU mix is honest.
